Round 1 of the Euro-Stock Car Series kicks off!!!!

Finally after a nice hiatus from racing events Racers Island commenced it's 2009 Winter Series.
For the next 15 weeks we'll be running 3 races per week Stock car, Formula 1 and Drift, plus a new Series hosted by KJ Kart Racing.
The new cars worked true other than a few fly-outs (to be corrected) was fun just the same.
Becka Destiny swept the Pole Position under her wing while Brave Ashbourne placed 5th in the quals and ran in the A Class race, shot up to 1st place until lap 52, flew out and over the wall and got messed up real bad, after being air-lifted by Medivac chopper only to be revived towards the end of the race. Scott Easterman took the Checkered Flag with Greg Drayman pulling in sweet 2nd place and HiRez Hotshot grabbed 3d place. Great racing everyone!!!!!!

RACERS NEW STOCK CARS ARE OUT!!!!!

This week we launched the all new Euro-Stock cars - 7 colors available - menu controlled - 14 wheel colors and a custom 3 digit roof texture for you own numbers.
Created by the amazing new Dymanic Duo team of Ichtyo Broome of Broome Engineering
and Kinwork Axel of Axel Body & Rims, have now merged their efforts into (AB) Axel/Broome - After weeks of scripting and fine tuning, this car adheres to our Terraform Oval Track like no other. I'm really looking forward the the Winter Season of racing. Even includes 2 cars at purchase, one for League racing (fixed settings) and another one with full settings adjustments. Great job on the car guys :) Available in the Racers Island Main store in the Mall. 1200$L

HARU MOTORS ROLLS OUT WITH THE NEW RACERS ISLAND FORMULA 1'S

THESE AWESOME CARS HAVE BEEN IN THE WORKS FOR OVER 3 MONTHS
Full of animations (tire changes - re-fueling - nose replacement) yes nose replacement. These Formula 1's (Kaguya) with PitStop have collision effects after hitting the wall 20 times the nose falls off and the car starts to smoke and gets stuck in 1st gear, all corrected by replacing the nose of the car. All this to create a better more fun style of racing to reduce the crazy out of control racing that exsists around SL. This sweet low lag car is guaranteed to ensure you an awesome racing experience. 2500L and available in 5 texture styles. Bravo to Haru Kappler and Miki Franciosa for a job well done. Season races should start in about a week.

And what a wedding it was and I was the Minister. lol
Was nice to spend a somewhat chill evening with our friends and family considering the 2000 scripts they were rezzed during the event and that little thing called "lag" lmao, but it turned out FANTASTIC. Good job everyone involved.
